In Boxties Among the Bottles, the Boxties and sommelier Olivia Evans come together to take you on a sensory journey, featuring notes both of song and of wine.

Together, we’ve developed an intimate show – part wine tasting, part concert – that explores the sounds, flavours, memories and emotions evoked by good music and good wine.

We’re bringing those two worlds together in partnership with some of Brisbane’s best bottle shops – places that can inspire us on our wine journey.

Apart from being a wine writer, wine judge, and former Sommelier at the award-winning Fleet Restaurant in Brunswick Heads, Olivia is a great storyteller, an entertaining host, and the Boxties’ perfect artistic partner.

We’re excited to kick off this series with Barrels and Stills, a boutique retailer that has not only a fabulous collection of fine wines, but also beers, spirits and quality deli provisions - even books!
